ADLER hand wall winches for passenger conveyance

Types: WH 3 LP - WH 15 LP
Load capacity 300 - 1500 kg
Max. permission load capacity on passenger conveyance: 150 - 1000 kg

General technical description

  • For use on silo ride-in equipment and suitable for safe transport of persons into bunkers, silos, tanks and containers.
  • Equipped with load pressure brake. The load is securely held in all positions. Robust, closed grey cast iron housing.
  • Cable attached by hole and threaded pin.
  • All lubrication points are maintenance-free or require only little maintenance.
  • The hand crank radius is infinitely adjustable, e.g. on partial loads.
  • The wall winches are designed in accordance with drive mechanism group 1 Bm and certified by the authorities in accordance with the accident preventions regulations VBG 8 and the safety regulations for pull-up passenger load suspension apparatus ZH 1 / 461.

  • The cable specified (minimum nominal tensile strength 1570 N/mm²) has a 10-fold safety factor relative to the mathematical breaking force, a minimum at least of 8 mm on single-cable suspension. The cable must be tension and rotation resistant.
  • On silo entrance devices, the permissible overall weight of the passenger load suspension apparatus is max. 150 kilos. When used in other areas of application the lifting gear, in connection with passenger conveyance, may only be subjected to loads corresponding to 2/3 of the permissible load capacity.

Technical description WH 3 LP - WH 15 LP mit Lastdruckbremse

  • Power transmission is effected by means of spur gears with grease lubrication for ambient temperatures of up to 40° C. The drive and drum shafts are equipped with robust roller bearings. Re-greasing is required.
  • Brake: spring-loaded load pressure brake (disc brake), stopper lifting device makes it noiseless in operation.
  • Cable payout is normally vertical upwards. Overhead assembly and cable payout downwards is also available, as is attachment in any other direction with the drum axle in the horizontal position.
