Hand wall winches WH 3 / 5 / 10 L

- WH 3 L, WH 5 L

- WH 10 L, WH 15 L
Technical description
- The load pressure brake securely holds the load in all positions with a stopper lifting device making it noiseless in operation.
- The power transmission is achieved by means of spur gears with grease lubrication for ambient temperatures up to 40° C. The drive and drum shafts are equipped with robust roller bearings. Re-greasing is required.
- The hand winches are designed in accordance with drive mechanism groups 1Bm and certified by the authorities in accordance with the accident prevention regulations.
WH 3 L: A- HZ II 90/ 82, WH 5 L: A- HZ II 91/ 82
WH 10 L: A- HZ II 51/ 83, WH 15 L: A- HZ II 92/ 83 - The crank radius is infinitely adjustable, e.g. on partial load.
- Cable payout is normally vertical upwards. Overhead mounting and cable payout downwards are also possible as is the drum axis being in the horizontal position in any other direction. Maximum pulling incline as shown in Ill. 1 and 2.
- Cable attachment by means of hole and threaded pin.

Special design available
- Crank with collapsible handle
- Upper guard
- The drum is supplied as standard non-grooved, can however be supplied grooved (see Ill. 3-6) All drums have two cable fixtures.
- Twin-cable, non-grooved designs as shown in Ill. 3 - 7 available.
Both cables are attached to the same drum flanged pulley and are wound from that point parallel onto the other flanged pulley. On this drum grooving arrangement the cable can only be wound on in the layer No.1. If two cable layers are required, the grooving should be in accordance with Ill. 5 and 6.
The cable is attached at the centre of the drum. From there the two strands in the first layer are wound onto the two flanged pulleys. In the case of the 2nd cable layer, the two strands run back from the flanged pulleys to the drum centre.
A separation bar located at the centre of the drum can be fitted for larger cable take-ups on twin-cable operation.
Additional special designs
- Winches are also available for special applications where opposite turning direction is required i.e. the direction of rotation for “lifting” is not clockwise but anti-clockwise. The cable is then also wound on the opposite side.
- Approved for passenger conveyance
- Approved for stages and studios in accordance with VGB 70 with additional brake
- Initial lubrication with cold-resistant grease up to - 40°C
- Equipped with roll-away lock – prevents load from falling down in case of damage to the gearing (only applies to WH 15 L).
