The technical design of the winches complies with the BGV C1 accident prevention regulations, also known as VBG 70.

ADLER electric and hand winches are tested and design inspected by the BG testing and certification body in line with the test certificate of the Iron and Metal III and Lifting Gear II technical committees.

Robust design guarantees long service life. Optimally co-ordinated hoisting and lowering sequences permit easy, safe operation.

  • Grooves cable drum
  • Single-layer cable take-up.
  • Equipped with cable press-on device.
  • Equipped with two independent load pressure brakes (with the exception of WH 16 SB – equipped here with dynamic self-locking by means of worm gear). The load is securely held in all positions.
  • Cable attachment by hole and two threaded pins.
  • The ADLER hand winches are designed in accordance with drive mechanism, group 1 Bm.

Range of supply

1) Two reserve windings have already been deducted in the specs on cable take-up.
2) The cable diameter relates to rotation-resistant cable with steel insert in accordance with DIN 3069.

Available special designs:

  • Hand crank with collapsible handle.
  • Multi-cable operation or extended cable drum “Lx” for larger cable take-up, e.g. for brochure lifts (only on WH 2 SB, WH 5 SB, WH 7 SB and WH 16 SB).
  • Individual drum arrangement as well as cable attachment design, e.g. separation bar.
