TypW SHW 10 H with standby manual drive
The so-called standby manual drive enables the winch to be operated even when there is a power cut. A switch-over mechanism is not required because the motor brake is supported by the load pressure brake which has no pawl. Manual operation of the winch is in no way hazardous. A special stroke end limit on manual operation can be overrun by approx. 1.2 m.
