Electric winch SHW 10
Raising and lowering of loads in the foodstuffs sector
The ADLER electric winch has been specially developed for use in slaughterhouses. It is completely maintenance-free and equipped as standard with IP 65 protection class. This protection class prevents infiltration of dust and jets of water.
The brake motor has insulation materials class “F” for high ambient temperatures and 100% air humidity. The robust conical brake is fitted with asbestos-free lining. The gear wheels run in an oil bath with ball bearings, thus achieving a high degree of efficiency. The initial gear stage is equipped with bevel gears, thus enabling the winch to operate quietly. Noise level approx. 70 dB (A).
The winch is supplied with a simple, easy-to-set hoisting end limit. Since this end limit is equipped with staged limit switches the winch is forcibly switched off in case the phases of the supply cable have been incorrectly connected (swapped).
The reversing contactor required for controlling the winch as well as the limit switches for the hoist end limit are fully wired in the switching zone of the winch. This switching zone is protected by the heat from the brake motor against the creation of condensation.
In special cases, the winch is available with single grooved drum in lieu of a double grooved drum.
