Rentals

In numerous structural applications and where there is a lack of pumping facilities, pumps are only required temporary basis. It is uneconomical for contractors or plant operators to purchase a pump so they prefer to rent one for a limited period.

There is already a market for renting small rotary pumps suitable for draining basements or storing water in small excavation pits. Up till now no one in Germany has been able to satisfy the demand for large propeller pumps.

KÖSTER are now filling this gap with their new rental service.

An electrically powered submersible motor pump with a delivery volume of approx. 400 litres per second at a delivery height of 5 m ( 110 kW connected load ), including shaft pipe and connecting cable ( scope of supply ) is available. This large pump is versatile in use e.g.
 

• during repairs to pumping stations
• for storing water in large and very large excavation pits  
• for storing water in large and very large excavation pits 
• in the renaturation of abandoned quarries 
• as stand-by pump to secure minimum pumping capacity or a minimum inland water level 
• for draining polders 
• for drainage of catchment areas 
• etc.
