Generations of competency and reliability

Personal effort is what counts! Friedrich Köster GmbH & Co. KG are now in the 7th generation, and that gives us character !  We know our customers and suppliers inside out – and our staff are fully qualified. We attach great emphasis to fostering and further developing business relations. All based on trust !

Our castings, steel components, winches, pumps, steel water control structures and swimming pool technology are exported to countries throughout the world. Our foundry supplies not only our own needs but has, meanwhile, built up a regular customer base comprising not only leading German companies but also international business partners.

Our quality benchmarks are hard to beat!

To us certification is not a must but a matter of course – something enabling us to assure customers worldwide that they have found reliable partners in Messrs. Friedrich Köster GmbH & Co. KG.

Unsurpassed foundry technology

Our in-house foundry provides unsurpassed depth of production, ranging from the production of cast iron, all forming processes, machining and assembly to the rust-proofing process. This all adds up to top notch quality right from the start! Our staff of engineers comprises graduates and certified engineers in the fields of  machine construction, welding technology, building construction and water economy. Master craftsmen with long years of experience head the various production shops.
The term or predicate “long service” is not something we award frivolously but must be “hard earned” over a period of decades of service to the company. Our foremen are fully qualified in the fields of turning, foundry, fittings, steel construction, machine construction and electro technology.

It’s people that make the difference

The craftsmen form the backbone of our company. Their experience and ability are the prime factors in ensuring that our products operate perfectly over many years, even under the toughest conditions. It goes without saying that we train our staff and employees ourselves: men and women engaged in the commercial side get to learn their profession just as much as the foundry technicians, industrial technicians, lathe operators and draftsmen do.

Successful teamwork

Our field engineers are our “flag fliers” and thus enjoy a very special position. They are well used to working on building sites worldwide with great commitment and maximum precision in conjunction with other site operations. This makes them “general specialists”, proficient in virtually all sectors of machine construction. As such they are fully equipped to master unforeseen situations (which crop up again and again).
