Practical in-company training

During the in-house training our trainees learn both the core qualifications that all industrial metal professions have in common as well as specialist qualifications specific to this profession. For the specialist field of turning technology our trainees deepen their skills and knowledge in the field of lathe systems by working in the production halls or our product divisions Pumps, Winches und Steel hydraulic construction.

Theoretical vocational school training

The training course takes place in parallel in the company and in the vocational school. The specialist knowledge required is taught at the Vocational Training Centre Dithmarschen in Meldorf in the first year of the training course and for the rest of the time in the Regional Vocational Training Centre Steinburg in Itzehoe. This encompasses attendance one day a week at the vocational school in the first and fourth years of the training course. Attendance at the vocational school is divided into a one-week set of block lessons every three weeks in the second and third years of the training course. As a rule the training course lasts 3.5 years. This can be shortened for trainees who achieve good results.
